There was overflow turn out at our first scheduled meeting on 4/24/06. The attendance is estimated at 250.

Unofficial signature tally after the meeting is approximately 630, exceeding our goal of 500.

     Antonovich weighs in against PUSD plan for Noyes
In a letter dated April 10, 2006, addressed to Dr. Percy Clark, MICHAEL D. ANTONOVICH, Mayor, Los Angeles County, stated "The residential character of the area surrounding Noyes Elementary School is not appropriate for an alternative high school such as Rose City. I share the Altadena community’s concerns with this potential transfer."      Bill Bibbiani speaks out against PUSD plan for Noyes
In this phone message, left for me earlier this afternoon, Bill Bibbiani marks his position as being vehemently opposed to using Noyes as a continuation high school. In a follow up call, he makes it clear that he supports the program in general, and does not fault the staff that prepared the report. He does however make it clear that he is vigorously opposed to Noyes as a site for this program.
